Chioma Omeruo
Founder, Chioma Omeruo Foundation
Chioma Omeruo is an entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist with a strong commitment to social impact, particularly in advancing the safety and education of the girl child. She hails from Nkanu South LGA of Enugu State, Nigeria, where her passion for community service and social responsibility was shaped. She completed her secondary education at Queen’s College, Enugu, and went on to study at the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT). Her academic journey helped build a foundation of discipline, leadership, and purpose that continues to guide her work today. Chioma is married to Kenneth Omeruo, a Nigerian professional footballer and Super Eagles international. Together, they are raising two children in a family rooted in values of God, purpose, resilience, and service. As a businesswoman and investor, Chioma is focused on building sustainable ventures while using her platform to drive meaningful change. Her work is especially centered on supporting young girls affected by poverty, abuse, and limited access to education. These concerns inspired the creation of the Chioma Omeruo Foundation, through which she supports underprivileged children, empowers widows, and advocates for the protection and dignity of the girl child. Guided by the belief that every child deserves safety, opportunity, and a chance to thrive, Chioma Omeruo continues to combine entrepreneurship with philanthropy to create lasting impact across communities. Chioma Omeruo is a passionate humanitarian and advocate for women empowerment. Through the Chioma Omeruo Foundation, she is dedicated to creating sustainable opportunities for women, children, and underserved communities. Her work focuses on education, empowerment programs, and community development, with a strong belief that every individual deserves access to opportunity and dignity.
